The Georgia Bulldogs are still looking to find out who will start at quarterback for them in Week 1 at Arkansas.

After Jamie Newman opted out, JT Daniels and D’Wan Mathis have been taking most of the first-team reps. However, Daniels hasn’t been fully cleared after suffering a knee injury at USC last year.

On Sunday, former Georgia QB and current analyst Aaron Murray weighed in on the Georgia QB situation. As you can see below, he says freshman Carson Beck impressed him the most:

“I thought JT when he took over in the second half did look comfortable, he looks healthy,” Murray said. “Waiting to see when he gets cleared. I thought, to me, the guy who looked the best yesterday of all the quarterbacks was Carson Beck. Lucky for him, he was going against the No. 2 defense. Not that vaunted No. 1 defense UGA will put out there this fall. He looked comfortable, big strong arm. … All 3 quarterbacks played really well. I thought it was a big win for the offense.”

Who will get the start in Week 1? Don’t expect the Bulldogs to make an official decision until the team takes the field in Fayetteville in a couple of weeks.
