You have to be extremely fast to win a “fastest man” competition at a high school All-American showcase. That’s pretty obvious.

Also pretty obvious? Georgia is getting a speed demon in Florida native Arian Smith.

If you missed it during the first day of the Early Signing Period, Smith picked Georgia over Alabama during a live commitment ceremony on ESPN. He immediately signed with the Bulldogs before traveling to Orlando for the 2020 Under Armour All-American Game.

The 6-foot-1, 170-pound Lakeland, Fla., native is a four-star prospect and the nation’s No. 72 overall prospect according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

He’s also one of the fastest prospects in the nation.

Smith showed off his speed on Monday during the “fastest man” competition at the 2020 Under Armour event leading up to this week’s showcase game in Orlando.
