Atlanta Falcons to honor Apalachee High School during warmups for Week 1
This week, tragedy struck at Apalachee High School in Georgia, as a shooter killed 4 and wounded 9.
As the community, situated east of Atlanta and west of Athens, grieves, the Atlanta Falcons will honor the victims of the tragedy prior to their game against the Pittsburgh Steelers this afternoon at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The Falcons players are going to wear Apalachee High School T-shirts during their warmups prior to the game, honoring the Wildcats and their community, per reporter Mike Garafolo:

The school shooting that killed 4 people took place on Wednesday morning. The shooter, Colt Gray, has been charged with 4 counts of murder and the 14-year-old will be charged as an adult.
The Falcons will make this small gesture to help a community in nearby Winder, Georgia, through the grieving process in the aftermath of the tragedy.
The Falcons and Steelers are set to kick off at 1 p.m. Eastern time for this Week 1 NFL matchup.
