Former Georgia standout All-American Bacarri Rambo was arrested Monday night on a felony rape charge, according to the Athens-Clarke County Jail log.

Per the Athens Banner-Herald’s Marc Weiszer, police responded to a rape accusation at an apartment in downtown Athens at the Georgia Heights Apartment; however, the incident took place at another location. The victim was listed as a 21-year old female, and Rambo was listed as the suspect on the report. The alleged incident was reported to police Saturday.

Rambo is currently incarcerated and is being hold without bond on the felony charge.

The former safety served on Georgia’s support staff the last 2 years as a graduate assistant; however, the school said Rambo’s time on the staff ended after the Sugar Bowl, per Weiszer. He’s not currently listed on the team’s website.
