Former Georgia TE Luke Ford has perfect response to learning the Big Ten will be playing this fall
Luke Ford has waited a long time for this day.
If you don’t know his story, the former High School All-American signed with Georgia out of Carterville High School in Illinois but after one season in Athens, Ford decided to transfer back home to be closer to his ailing grandfather.
Ford filed a hardship waiver with the NCAA but that waiver was denied. Following that news, many Georgia fans publicly issued their support for Ford to gain his eligibility at Illinois but the NCAA never waivered.
After sitting out the 2019 season due to the NCAA’s decision, Ford looked to be missing out on the 2020 season after the Big Ten postponed its season.
Now with the Big Ten deciding to return to the field this fall, starting on Oct. 24, Ford will have the opportunity to finally see the field again.
His response to the news was great.
