Brock Bowers is at it again.

The Georgia Bulldogs have opened up the game against the UAB Blazers. Late in the 2nd quarter, Carson Beck found his Bowers down the sideline.

Bowers pushed one Blazers’ defender into another and scurried into the end zone for a 41-yard score to put the Bulldogs up 21-7.

That was the first score of the season for the big TE and Beck’s 5th.

At halftime, the Bulldogs have a 28-14 lead over the Blazers. Beck has been sharp, completing 18-of-26 passes for 264 yards and 2 TDs with no interceptions in the 1st half. Bowers has been fantastic, collecting 6 catches for 97 yards and the 1 TD.

The Georgia defense has also picked off UAB Jacob Zeno and allowed just 55 yards on the ground.

With a win, the Bulldogs will remain perfect going into SEC play. After this week, the Bulldogs play 7 straight SEC games before ending the season against Georgia Tech.
