Georgia’s current recruiting class just landed a big commitment in the 2021 recruiting cycle as one of the nation’s premier tight end prospects announced his commitment to Kirby Smart’s program on Monday.

California native Brock Bowers of Napa just announced his pledge to join the Bulldog football program.

“Thank you to all the people who have supported me through this process. I am grateful for my family, coaches, teammates, and friends, for helping me with my decision. Super excited to continue my academic and football career at the University of Georgia. Big thanks to the coaching staff at Georgia for believing in me and giving me this opportunity. Let’s do this.”

The 6-foot-3, 225-pound Bowers is rated as a top 100 overall prospect, the No. 3 tight end and the No. 11 recruit from California in the 2021 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Bowers picked Georgia over scholarship offers from LSU, Tennessee, Michigan, Penn State, UCLA and USC, among others.
