Brock Bowers is one of a kind, and he continues to show why.

The Georgia Bulldogs suffered a major scare against Vanderbilt when Bowers got hurt. It looked like an injury that could have him out for a long time. However, quarterback Carson Beck took his game to the next level during his absence, as he threw for 569 yards and 4 touchdowns in the game without Bowers.

When the injury first occurred, it appeared that this could be a much longer injury. The initial diagnosis was anywhere from 4-to-6 weeks, but Bowers returned on Saturday night, missing only 2 games — Florida and Missouri.

Bowers got into the end zone in the fourth quarter of the game against the Ole Miss Rebels, as he caught an 8-yard pass from Beck. Bowers is the No. 1 target for the Bulldogs, so getting him back is a huge plus for Beck. The tight end entered the game leading the team with 41 catches, 567 yards and 4 touchdowns.

In his first 2 seasons, Bowers had 14 total touchdowns in 2021, and 10 last season. Despite being tight end, he has five rushing touchdowns in his career at Georgia.

Bowers is highly regarded to be a high draft pick in the 2024 NFL draft, and will most likely be the first tight end off the board.
