Cameron Nizialek got a great Christmas present in 2021, as that’s the day the Pittsburgh Steelers signed him to their practice squad.

Now, the Steelers are keeping him around ahead of the 2022 season, it seems.

As you can see below, the team announced via Twitter that Nizialek, the former Georgia punter, had signed a reserve/future contract to remain in the Steel City:

Nizialek signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent following the 2019 NFL Draft. He then spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He served as the Atlanta Falcons’ punter for the first 4 games of the 2021 season before heading to the Steelers.

Now, we’ll see if he can earn a spot on the Steelers’ roster for the 2022 campaign.
