Cash Jones recorded his first touchdown reception in a Georgia uniform on Saturday. The running back made quite the catch.

Carson Beck found Jones in the endzone and the Bulldog RB made a great over-the-shoulder grab for six points. Jones excelled in making himself open on the wheel route.

The third quarter TD went for 27 yards.

Saturday was Georgia and Ball State’s first ever meeting in college football. The Bulldogs welcomed the Cardinals at Athens, to say the least.

Jones was a former 3-star RB out of the 2021 class from Brock (Tex.) Brock. Jones originally committed to New Mexico State, but flipped his pledge to Georgia. He also had offers from Army, FIU, and FAU.

Jones played in 13 games over his first two years with the Bulldogs.
