Chris ‘Mad Dog’ Russo has had it with Florida State, even more so after several players decided to opt out of the Orange Bowl.

It wasn’t enough for Russo that all the Florida lawmakers wrote letters to the College Football Playoff complaining about being snubbed.

“Nobody in America, including Stephen A., on New Year’s Day wanted to see Florida State get manhandled by Michigan,” said Russo. “Thank God, they didn’t put them in there because of the injury to the quarterback.”

Russo called out the Seminoles players who opted out for not having any guts. He was disappointed in the team for not trying to prove the committee wrong.

“Now after they’ve moaned and groaned, they have a chance to play Georgia. Probably still the best team in college football,” said Russo. “You would think that they would use that game to show, ‘You know what? We should’ve been in the Final 4.’ And you know what? They all opted out. They’re all not gonna play in the game. … That doesn’t show me any guys at all.”

The Orange Bowl will take place on Dec. 30 at Hard Rock Stadium. Kickoff will be at 4 p.m. ET on ESPN.
