Georgia and Ohio State will face off on New Years Eve in a College Football Semifinal matchup.

The game will pit the 2 teams that topped the polls for most of the season, as well as 2 of the finalists for Heisman Trophy, quarterbacks Stetson Bennett of the Bulldogs and CJ Stroud of the Buckeyes.

Stroud was asked about Georgia during his trip to New York for the Heisman ceremony and was highly complimentary of the Bulldogs.

“Yeah, I’ve been watching film for a little while now. I mean, they’re a great, great team. Both offense, defense, special teams,” said Stroud, per DawgNation.com. “They do a lot of good things. They know what they want to do. They know their weaknesses, and they protect those really well. I definitely think they have very little to no weaknesses, so I’m very excited to going ahead and play.”

The CFP matchup on Dec. 31 between top-seeded Georgia and 4th-seeded Ohio State will be played as part of the Peach Bowl in Atlanta.

The game is set for 8 p.m. (ET) on ESPN, and the Bulldogs are currently a 6.5-point favorite.
