Colin Cowherd believes the Chicago Bears should trade former Georgia Bulldog Roquan Smith to the Cowboys while they are interested.

He argued that Smith, who is the Bears’ most talented player after dominating SEC opponents at Georgia, has a market and isn’t working out with the team that drafted him in 2018.

“It is time to do what the Warriors did and pivot off a really good player who has got a market,” Cowherd said. “You could move Roquan Smith today and there’s a story out the Cowboys are interested. Let them be interested.”

Smith has been one of the better linebackers in the NFC since being selected 8th overall in the 2018 NFL Draft. He spent three years in Athens, totaling 252 tackles, 14 for loss and 6.5 sacks. His junior season was especially impressive, leading Georgia to the National Championship with 137 total tackles on the season.

Smith requested to be traded away from Chicago after holding out due to contract negotiations.
