Danny Kanell drops Georgia from No. 1 spot in his top 12 rankings, includes 4 SEC teams

There’s been plenty of shakeup in the college football power rankings between then preseason and now, and that’s something that has certainly held true through the conclusion of Week 5.

Georgia was largely everyone’s No. 1, but that has changed some after the Bulldogs narrowly avoided a loss to the Tigers, coming out with the 26-22 win. With that, even though Alabama didn’t play a perfect game, it still got a double-digit victory over Arkansas and has risen to the top spot in a number of different rankings.

Such has held true for Dany Kanell of CBS Sports’ standings as he dropped Georgia in the Top 12 this week. Here’s a look at those, which feature 4 SEC teams.

With some of the questions Alabama has shown in addition to just how stacked the SEC is this year, it will be interesting to see how these continue to change moving forward.
