Daran Branch’s time in Athens has been interesting, to say the least, but it appears the Louisiana native is no longer a member of Kirby Smart’s Georgia program.

After appearing in two games last season, Branch has left the Georgia program according to Dawgs247Sports.

This news comes after Branch was not listed on the 2021 G-Day Spring Game roster. He is also not currently listed on the team’s official roster.

Branch previously left Georgia leading up to the start of the 2020 season. His high school recruitment also featured some drama as he committed to Ole Miss in November of 2019 only to decommit from the Rebels during National Signing Day 2020 and sign with the Bulldogs.

He was rated as a three-star prospect and the No. 51 cornerback in the country for the 2020 recruiting cycle.
