ESPN college football analyst David Pollack appeared on “Get Up” Friday morning to talk about Saturday night’s Peach Bowl between Georgia and Ohio State.

Pollack was quick to compliment Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud, a two-time Heisman finalist.

“C.J. Stroud is the best passer in college football when he knows the answer and he can get the ball out quick….you’ve just got to get a little pressure in his face with Jalen Carter and company to get him off of his spot and make him make those next plays.”

He also touched on the noise surrounding Ryan Day. The fourth-year coach is 45-5, but has two losses to Michigan on his resume and questions are beginning to swirl about Day’s ability to get the most out of a talented roster in Columbus.

Pollack said that a good performance Saturday night would quiet a lot of doubters.

“I don’t it impacts Ryan Day at all if [Ohio State] plays a competitive game. But if it’s not competitive and he’s already been taking heat for losing to Michigan…I think it could make more noise. But you win 90 percent of your games and I think you’re doing a dang good job in college football.”
