It appears there is something to the Brandon Turnage rumors.

Read into this what you will but Georgia has updated the team’s online roster and Turnage is nowhere to be found. The former Alabama defensive back announced his transfer to Georgia on May 15.

Since that time, Georgia has added former Clemson defensive back Derion Kendrick via the transfer portal and has extended a scholarship offer to former Tulsa defensive back, Akayleb Evans.

Kendrick and Arik Gilbert both were announced as Georgia commitments at the start of June.

Georgia’s decision to extend a scholarship offer to Evans came immediately after speculation emerged regarding Turnage reconsidering his transfer to Kirby Smart’s program.

Here are the transfer players that have made their first appearance on Georgia’s online team roster following a recent update:

  • Derion Kendrick, #11 senior defensive back (formerly of Clemson)
  • Arik Gilbert #14, sophomore receiver (formerly of LSU)
  • Tykee Smith #23, junior defensive back (formerly of West Virginia)
