Devastating loss to Georgia Tech drops UGA in polls
Saturday’s overtime loss to Georgia Tech was a tough one for Georgia fans to swallow. Not only did it snap the Bulldogs’ five-game winning streak over the Yellow Jackets, but it took UGA out of any playoff contention.
In the latest polls, Georgia’s loss dropped the Bulldogs down to No. 15 in both the Amway Coaches Poll and Associated Press Top 25 Poll.

The Bulldogs looked on their way to bolstering their top-10 ranking when they took the lead with just 18 seconds remaining in the game.
But a coaching blunder in the form of a squib kick on the ensuing kickoff allowed Georgia Tech to tie the game and eventually win it in over time.
