Elite in-state prospect Marquis Groves-Killebrew becomes Georgia's first 2022 commitment
Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs landed their first commitment for the class of 2022.
Four-star defensive back Marquis Groves-Killebrew (Snellville, Georgia) committed to the Bulldogs over offers from Arizona State, Auburn and Arkansas, among others. The 6-0, 180-pound defensive back is ranked as the nation’s No. 10 overall cornerback and the state of Georgia’s No. 8 overall prospect, according to 247Sports’ rankings.
Killebrew may end up being a 5-star prospect before his senior season is over, too.
He committed to Georgia via Twitter.

Defensive backs coach Charlton Warren is Groves-Killebrew’s lead recruiter, as the talented high school player has been on the radar since 8th grade with his elite talent and cover skills.
The talented defensive back also received an invitation to the 2022 All American Bowl in Texas.
