Broadcast information, kickoff time set for Georgia vs. Clemson season opener
Could the best game of the 2021 season take place during opening weekend?
It’s possible as Georgia and Clemson are set to clash in the 2021 Duke’s Mayo Classic from Charlotte during the first week of the regular season.
It has just been announced that the game will be broadcast nationally by ESPN and will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. CT on ABC.
Both teams project to be top five teams by the time the official preseason polls are released.
The Bulldogs are coming off an 8-2 season, which included a win over previously undefeated Cincinnati in the Peach Bowl. Clemson went 10-2 last season, losing to Notre Dame in the regular season and to Ohio State in the College Football Playoff semifinals.
ESPN just dropped the national primetime TV schedule for opening weekend.
