At this point in the season, Georgia and Michigan seem like the two most obvious choices for the College Football Playoff, but it is now a question of who should be the No. 1 seed.

Georgia is currently at No. 1 in the CFP rankings and has very little evidence for why it shouldn’t be No. 1, but ESPN’s Heather Dinich brought up a case for why Michigan might deserve to be No. 1 come Playoff time.

Dinich cites Michigan’s win over Ohio State on Saturday as being enough evidence for why the Wolverines deserve the top spot. She says they have the best win in the country, on the road with a monster second half. She also credits Michigan for its top-10 win over Penn State.

Georgia has some big wins as well, most notably its top-10 win over Tennessee, but Dinich has a strong point for Michigan at No. 1.

We will see how the committee fares on Tuesday night.
