One of the three Georgia players who announced plans to transfer from Tom Crean’s program has found his new home. Freshman forward JoJo Toppin has announced he’s transferring to Georgia State University.

A 6-6, 190-pound wing, Toppin was a 3-star recruit on the 247Sports Composite coming out of Norcross High School in Georgia. In the 2018-19 season, Toppin saw limited action. He played a total of 99 minutes in 18 games, averaging 1.4 points per game.

Toppin will sit out the 2019-20 season and have three years of eligibility remaining. Sophomore Teshaun Hightower and freshman Ignas Sarguinas, UGA’s two other transfers out, have yet to announce schools.

Toppin made his announcement by sharing a Georgia State graphic via his Instagram account.
