Former Georgia LB Channing Tindall was at the Senior Bowl in Mobile over the weekend.

As he tries to improve his 2022 NFL Draft stock, Tindall was eager to show all the ways he can contribute to a team, including on special teams.

As you can see below, NFL Network analyst Daniel Jeremiah even went as far as to compare Tindall’s special teams work to that of the legendary Patrick Willis:

“That loaded Georgia defense. They have a play style and it is aggressive,” Jeremiah said. “And, it carries over to special teams. … Watch the effort that he gives to make this tackle. He goes down the field, he’s in his lane, he is where he is supposed to be. Now, it is going to bounce outside. You are going to see just how fast he is.

“Watch him close this angle. That is big-time speed and effort from Channing Tindall and it reminds me of coming to this game as a young scout and there was a young linebacker from Mississippi. I am trying to remember his name — oh yeah, Patrick Willis.”

That’s quite the lofty comparison, as Willis was one of the greatest linebackers ever to play the game. But, if Tindall gets a chance in the NFL, he’ll get to prove he has some of the same qualities that made Willis so great.
