A fifth-round draft pick of the Tennessee Titans, former Georgia LB D’Andre Walker will miss this season after he suffered an undisclosed injury that forced him to be placed on injured reserve.

Walker missed some of the events leading up to the NFL Draft because he dealt with a groin injury that ultimately required surgery.

Walker, who at Georgia was listed at 6-foot-3 and 245 pounds, made 112 tackles, 13.5 sacks and four passes defensed over four seasons with the Bulldogs.

Titans coach Mike Vrabel said the team would work with Walker as he recovers physically, and help him mentally prepare for a return to the field.
