Former Georgia offensive tackle Isaiah Wynn will reportedly be sidelined the next few Sundays.

Wynn, in his second year with the New England Patriots, is reportedly going on injured reserve after suffering a foot injury on Sunday. The Patriots defeated the Miami Dolphins 43-0 in Miami in Week 2 of the 2019 NFL season.

New England picked Wynn No. 23 overall in the 2018 NFL Draft, a pick acquired in a trade with Los Angeles. At UGA, Wynn earned first-team All-SEC and second-team All-America honors for his standout 2017 season.

It’s the second time in Wynn’s young NFL career that he has dealt with a lengthy injury absence. Last season, a torn Achilles landed Wynn on IR on Sept. 1, 2018, causing him to miss the regular season and the Patriots’ Super Bowl run.
