Last season, former Georgia S Quincy Mauger was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Atlanta Falcons, but didn’t appear in any games.

He was injured in the preseason finale against the Jacksonville Jaguars and ended up missing the entire season. Then, in June, the Falcons released the former Bulldog.

Now though, just in time for the start of the 2018 preseason, the Oakland Raiders have announced that they’ve signed Mauger to a contract:

The Raiders have some depth issues in their secondary, so Mauger will have a good chance to make the roster if he performs well.

During his career at Georgia, Mauger had 186 tackles and seven interceptions.
