Former Georgia WR Isaiah McKenzie has been released from the Buffalo Bills after 5 seasons with the organization.

However, the 27-year-old McKenzie is departing on positive terms and is grateful for the opportunity he received.

“I could write a book about how much I love this place, but I’ll just say thank you,” McKenzie said.

The Bills cut McKenzie in order to not be on the hook for his $250,000 roster bonus and also saved $2 million in cap space with the transaction.

McKenzie amassed career highs for receptions (42) and yards (423) last season. For his pro career, McKenzie has tallied 141 receptions for 1,345 yards and 11 touchdowns.

The Denver Broncos selected McKenzie in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. During McKenzie’s 3 seasons at Georgia, he compiled 60 receptions for 823 yards and 7 touchdowns, while also rushing for 329 yards and 4 scores.
