Former Georgia WR Terry Godwin signs with new NFL team
Terry Godwin is on the move. The Tennessee Titans announced Thursday that they have signed the former Georgia wide receiver.
Godwin is entering his fourth season in the NFL. The Carolina Panthers selected Godwin with the No. 237 overall pick in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Godwin was waived by the Panthers during final roster cuts on Aug. 31, 2019.
In September 2019, Godwin landed with the Jacksonville Jaguars on their practice squad. Godwin made his NFL regular-season debut in 2020. He played in 3 games for the Jaguars that season, recording 3 catches for 32 yards.
Godwin spent the 2021 season on injured reserve and was let go by Jacksonville in May.
