Former UGA RB commit found a new home pretty quickly
On Monday morning, 4-star running back prospect Toneil Carter announced he was de-committing from Georgia. With the return of Nick Chubb and Sony Michel, the Bulldogs’ backfield became just a little too crowded.
It didn’t take long for the Texas native to find a new school, however. Only a few hours after de-committing from Georgia, Carter has committed to Texas. Carter took to Twitter to announce the news Monday afternoon:

The Longhorns’ new head coach, Tom Herman, himself took to Twitter to express his excitement following the news of his new in-state commitment.
First HS commit in the new Longhorn era is a definite game changer from H-Town. #RunTheRock #HookEm ??
