Georgia 5-star QB signee Brock Vandagriff shows off arm with 45-yard TD pass in state title game
Who will be Georgia’s next star quarterback? It could potentially be Brock Vandagriff.
Vandagriff, a 5-star recruit from Prince Avenue Christian School in Bogart, Ga., signed with the Bulldogs earlier this month during the early signing period, and he had been committed to the program since Jan. 21. But before he enrolls at Georgia, Vandagriff is still finishing his high school career.
On Monday, Prince Avenue Christian was facing Trinity Christian School in the Georgia 1A Private State Football Championship game. And it didn’t take long for Vandagriff to showcase his impressive arm.
Midway through the opening quarter, Vandagriff aired it out for a 45-yard touchdown pass to Jake Pittman, extending Prince Avenue Christian’s early lead to 13-0. Georgia Public Broadcasting tweeted a video of the highlight play:

Vandagriff is the No. 14 overall recruit in the 2021 class, per the 247Sports Composite rankings, and he’s the No. 2 dual-threat quarterback and the No. 2 recruit from Georgia. He is one of four 5-star recruits in the Bulldogs’ 2021 class, which ranks No. 3 in the country behind only Alabama and Ohio State.
If Vandagriff can make throws like this one when he arrives at Georgia, perhaps he could become one of the Bulldogs’ offensive leaders down the line.
