Brandon Turnage is staying in the SEC.

On Friday night, the Alabama transfer defensive back announced he will be continuing his football career at Georgia. Turnage shared the news on his Instagram page.

An Oxford, Mississippi native, the 247Sports Composite rated Turnage 4-stars, the No. 11 cornerback and No. 102 prospect overall in the class of 2019. Turnage signed with the Crimson Tide over 22 other offers including Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas A&M.

At UA, however, Turnage only appeared in four games during the last two seasons. A redshirt freshman this past season, Turnage’s only recorded statistic was a pass breakup against Mississippi State in 2020.
