The Georgia Bulldogs had a bit of staff turnover this offseason, but now they’re adding to their off-field staff ahead of the 2022 campaign.

On Sunday, it was revealed that a familiar face would be returning to Athens to join Kirby Smart’s group of analysts.

As you can see below, former Georgia DB Sheldon Dawson announced he was returning to Georgia to serve as a defensive quality control coach and the assistant defensive backs coach:

Dawson appeared in 27 games in 3 years at Georgia from 2012 to 2014. He made 1 start during his Bulldog career.

Prior to taking the Georgia job, Dawson was the cornerbacks coach at UT Martin.
