Georgia added a third commit to its 2023 class with a commitment on Friday from Daquayvious Sorey.

Sorey, of Graceville, Florida, announced his commitment on social media and it’s a bit of a family reunion for Sorey. Sorey is listed as a 4-star recruit by 247Sports, and the 6-foot-3, 185-pound receiver ranks as the nation’s No. 8 receiver and the No. 69 overall prospect for 247Sports in the 2023 class.

His cousin, Xavian, was a 5-star signee for Georgia in the 2021 class, DawgNation reported.

Tom Lemming, a CBS Sports Network analyst, called him the number one prospect in the Florida Panhandle with “great footwork, strong hands and tremendous production. Gifted athlete with all American skills.”

Sorey has a reported 13 offers, and is Georgia’s first commitment for this class for the Bulldogs in more than a month.

The Bulldogs already have a commit from South Walton (Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.) tight end Pearce Spurlin. McEachern (Powder Springs, Ga.) defensive tackle Seven Cloud is UGA’s other commitment in the 2023 class.
