As it heads into Week 3 of its SEC schedule, Georgia has announced its captains for the game against Tennessee. Wide receiver Kearis Jackson, defensive back Mark Webb, and defensive lineman Jordan Davis were given the honor by Kirby Smart and his staff this time around.

Jackson has enjoyed a fast start to his season. The redshirt sophomore had 6 catches for 62 yards at Arkansas, then followed it up with a 9-catch, 147-yard game against Auburn as the Dawgs improved to 2-0.

Webb, a senior, made 38 tackles last season, 3.0 of those for negative yardage. On Saturday against Auburn, the Philadelphia native recorded an interception of Bo Nix, the 1st of his career, at the close of the 3rd quarter.

Davis, from Charlotte, has recorded 5 tackles on the young season. A season ago, the junior was good for 17 tackles, 4.0 tackles for a loss, and 2.5 sacks.

The Bulldogs and Volunteers square off at 3:30 pm ET on Saturday, a game that will be shown on CBS.
