Multiple Georgia football assistants are receiving raises, Seth Emerson of The Athletic reports.
Emerson shared the findings of a records request Wednesday on Twitter. Offensive coordinator Todd Monken, who joined Kirby Smart’s staff ahead of the 2020 season, has received a bump in pay to $1.25 million, up from $1.1 million. In another tweet, Emerson added, “Todd Monken’s raise is in fact a result of a new deal, per my understanding.”
Defensive line coach Tray Scott has also received a raise. Scott, who joined Smart’s staff just over 5 years ago, will make $700,000, after being paid $450,000 last year.
Buster Faulkner, an offensive analyst, received a raise from $150,000 to $250,000.
In his tweets, Emerson adds that new outside linebackers coach Chidera Uzo-Diribe will make $450,000 annually. Georgia announced the addition of Uzo-Diribe, who previously coached at TCU, on Feb. 6.
UGA also has a new director of football operations, Neyland Roper. He replaces Josh Lee.
