Georgia basketball is in the process of rounding out the 2023 recruiting class and picked up a late addition on Monday.
The player is Silas Demary Jr., a 4-star combo guard who previously signed a national letter of intent with USC. Demary recently requested a release from that NLI with the Trojans getting star guard Boogie Ellis back for another year and signing the nation’s No. 1 overall prospect in Isaiah Collier.
Now, Demary is on his way to Athens via the 2023 recruiting class for head coach Mike White:

The 6-foot-4 and 180-pound CG played for Charlotte’s Combine Academy and is rated as a 4-star recruit via the 247 Sports Composite. The system also rates Demary as the 14th CG nationally and the No. 99 player in the country for the class of 2023.
Demary’s addition brings Georgia’s 2023 recruiting class up to 3 players. All 3 of those prospects are top-100 prospects coming out of high school.
So far, White’s Bulldogs have also added a pair of key transfers in Jalen Deloach out of VSU and RJ Melendez out of Illinois. All signs appear to be pointing up for White’s program early in his tenure with the Bulldogs.
