Tom Crean has picked up a late addition to his 2019 class.

Michael Peake, a 6-7 power forward out of Blue Valley Northwest in Overland Park, Kansas, announced Monday that he is committed to the Bulldogs. Eric Bossi of Rivals notes that Peake, rated a 3-star prospect, was expected to attend a year of prep school and sign in the 2020 class, but recently got good news that some hard work in the classroom paid off and he’s academically qualified and able to classify for 2019. Peake was part of a Mokan Elite squad that won the prestigious Nike Peach Jam tournament. Highlights from the tournament can be seen in the video below. Peake wears No. 15.

He made the announcement on Twitter where he shared the below note and graphic.
