For the first time since 2008, Georgia may be bring back its alternate black jerseys on gameday.

The Bulldogs’ black alternate uniforms have all been but banned since the 41-30 loss to Alabama at Sanford Stadium in 2008. Fans have clamored for a return to the alternates for several years.

And they might just get their wish this season.

On Friday night, high school prospects gathered at Georgia for a three-day Kirby Smart Camp, and one prospect in particular, four-star LB Kenney Britt, said the Bulldogs will wear black uniforms in 2016.

Britt first tweeted out a photo in a threads with Kirby Smart.
