Georgia lands 2022 commitment from 4-star Texas DT
Wednesday is National Signing Day for the class of 2021, but that doesn’t stop recruits in other classes from making commitments. Georgia secured a verbal pledge from a major 2022 target.
Ryan High School standout Bear Alexander announced his pledge to UGA on Wednesday. The Denton, Texas native is listed at 6-3, 325 and rated 4-stars, the No. 9 defensive tackle, No. 22 Lone Star State recruit and No. 140 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2022 on the 247Sports Composite.
Alexander has already picked up 29 scholarship offers in his recruitment. He was also reportedly showing interest in Florida, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Texas and Texas A&M.
