Georgia DB Shaq Jones arrested for theft, dismissed
It’s another day, and another defensive back dismissed from the Georgia program.
Head coach Mark Richt announced in his Sunday evening teleconference that freshman defensive back Shaquille Jones has been dismissed from the team, this according to Seth Emerson of the Macon Telegraph.

Gentry Estes, who covers the Bulldogs for 247Sports, later reported that the Athens-Clarke County jail log listed a Shaquille Jones as having been arrested on charges of theft.

Jones makes the sixth defensive back that has either been dismissed or transferred since the arrival of defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt in January.
