The No. 4 cornerback in this year’s class, according to the 247Sports Composite, Green was also the No. 8 player in the state of Georgia. He is from Covington, Georgia (Newton).
Green was also charged with 2 counts of misdemeanor reckless conduct, according to the Athens-Clarke County jail records, the Athens Banner-Herald reported.
He’s the second UGA defensive player known to have been arrested this season. Linebacker Adam Anderson was arrested and charged after a 21-year-old woman accused him of raping her in an Athens apartment on Oct. 29.
