Georgia’s defense needed to come up with a big play, and it did.

Leading 3-0 with 2:45 left in the second quarter, Florida was backed up into its own end zone. Quarterback Anthony Richardson ran the ball, and Georgia’s Nolan Smith took the ball away from him. And with it, all momentum went in Georgia’s direction.

Richardson’s forward progress never did stop, and it equaled a huge turnover for Georgia, with the Bulldogs seizing momentum.

The very next play, running back James Cook rushed for 11 yards and scored the touchdown.

Most coaches say the most important moments of the game is the last few minutes of the second quarter and the first few minutes of the third quarter.

Georgia leads the Gators 10-0 with over 2 minutes left in the first half.
