Georgia drops ‘4th quarter mentality’ hype video for rivalry vs. Georgia Tech

Georgia is back for more Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate against Georgia Tech, and this year’s in-state rivalry carries a bit more weight for the Bulldogs.
At 9-2 on the season, Georgia checked in at No. 7 overall in the latest College Football Playoff rankings. While the Bulldogs have a chance to win their way in with an SEC Championship, a loss to Georgia Tech would put additional pressure on that game in Atlanta.
Beyond the postseason implications, Georgia has not lost this game since 2016 in Athens. You can bet this team does not want to be the one to lose that streak, especially after a closer-than-expected battle vs. GT in Atlanta last season.
Georgia dropped its hype video for the rivalry on Thanksgiving with this year’s game coming on Black Friday. It’s a textbook video, complete with a brilliant speech from head coach Kirby Smart.
“One time a year, one time a year you get a chance,” says Smart. “Three and a half hours for 365 days. Your DNA is earned over a year. Not in a matter of minutes… for 60 minutes, I need the best force you’ve got.”

This year’s game is set for 7:30 pm ET on Black Friday with ABC on the broadcast. It should be a good one from Athens.
