Without an NCAA Tournament this year, the past month and a half have been full of brackets of different varieties.
The Georgia football Twitter account has been running a bracket trying to determine the best moment in Bulldogs history, and on Friday, the final vote was decided by fans.
In a bit of a surprise, Sony Michel’s game-winning run in the Rose Bowl a couple of years ago took home the title:
? It’s official‼️ ?
As decided by you – the fans – the greatest moment in the history of Georgia Bulldogs football is…

That iconic run beat out the 1980 national championship, surprisingly. Perhaps this vote was a bit of recency bias from fans.
However, Michel’s play to send Georgia to the title game against Alabama was certainly an incredible moment, too.
