It looks like Bulldogs fans wasted no time in trying to snatch up tickets to Monday’s national championship game.

According to Kevin Skiver with CBS Sports, the ticket site StubHub crashed shortly after Georgia knocked off Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl to advance to the national championship game. What will make that game even more incredible is that the Bulldogs will be playing in-state at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

According to Eric Mandel with the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the cheapest tickets available once StubHub was restored were upwards of $3,000. Some luxury suites even offered a six-figure price tag Monday evening. As of Tuesday morning, upper deck seats were available for around $2,000, and it will be interesting to see how high the price tag climbs.

The stadium will likely still be packed despite these prices. Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama is located just over 200 miles from Atlanta while Sanford Stadium in Athens is less than 100 miles away. It should be a packed house full of red and crimson come game time, and the environment surrounding the contest will likely be one for the ages.
