It’s official. Georgia fans are desperate.

After news broke yesterday of an indefinite suspension for Georgia’s star running back and Heisman candidate Todd Gurley, Georgia fans naturally went to the only place they felt could lift his suspension as soon as possible – the White House.

A petition has appeared on the official White House website asking the President of the United States to “pardon Todd Gurley for any possible wrongdoings and ordering the NCAA and UGA to cancel any investigations.”

As of 11:30 a.m. ET, the petition has 4,322 signatures.

In order for the petition to merit an official response from the White House, the petition needs an additional 95,678 signatures by Nov. 8.
