The Bulldogs did not have the kind of first half that fans were hoping for in the Rose Bowl.

Georgia is going up against Oklahoma in the College Football Playoff semifinal, and the first half was controlled for the most part by the Sooners. Oklahoma scored 31 points and moved the ball both on the ground and in the air against the Dawgs defense.

While Georgia’s defense definitely needs to play better in the second half, there is no denying that the play selection of Georgia OC Jim Chaney has been a bit questionable. Many felt the Bulldogs would lean on their strong running game and talented backfield to control the game against the Sooners defense, but that has not been the case.
