An offensive lineman that originally pledged to Florida State announced on Monday evening that he is now committed to Georgia.

Aliou Bah, who plays at IMG Academy in Florida via Memphis, Tenn., revealed on his Twitter account that he will instead head to Athens in 2022 to play for Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs. Bah is considered by 247Sports as a 3-star recruit and the No. 35 offensive tackle in the 2022 class.

Bah announced in Oct. 2020 that he was transferring from Whitehaven (Tenn.) High School in Memphis to IMG. According to the Commercial-Appeal, he cited his home county’s decision to put its fall season on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic as a primary reason.

He went on to pledge to Mike Norvell and the Seminoles on May 7, later taking an official visit to Tallahassee in June a week before one to Georgia. He eventually de-committed from FSU on Oct. 16, leading to his commitment to the Bulldogs on Monday.
