Georgia added to its 2025 class with a huge flip from a rival Monday morning. Shortly after defeating Florida, the Gators flipped 4-star safety Resean Dinkins from the Yellow Jackets.

Dinkins, who hails from Warner Robins, Georgia, had been committed to the Yellow Jackets since June 2, but decommitted just one month after receiving an offer from the Bulldogs on Monday. While the Bulldogs have been winning, Georgia Tech has lost 2 straight and recently fell to Virginia Tech last weekend.

According to 247Sports Dinkins is a 4-star prospect, rated as the No. 219 overall prospect in the Class of 2025 and the No. 19 safety. He’s also considered to be the No. 32 prospect out of Georgia. Dinks has also received offers from Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas A&M, USC and Florida State, to name a few.

Dinkins stands at 5-10, 175 pounds and plays a well-rounded game at Warner Robins High School. He’s especially good at forcing takeaways according to scout Andrew Ivins, who reported that he had 12 interceptions this year for WRHS.

Georgia currently owns the nation’s No. 3 class, ranking just behind Alabama and Ohio State. Dinkins joins fellow DBs Todd Robinson, Jaylan Morgan and Jontae Gilbert.
