Georgia flips elite 4-star top-100 2023 WR away from Florida

Georgia is the No. 1 team in the country this year and things seem to only be trending up for Kirby Smart’s program.
Meanwhile, at Florida, things are getting dicey under Dan Mullen’s leadership. So, it should come as no surprise that Georgia flipped a key Florida commit on Thursday.
As you can see below, 4-star 2023 WR Raymond Cottrell, a Florida native, announced via Twitter that he was flipping to Georgia:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Cottrell is the No. 12 receiver in the class of 2023 and the No. 18 overall recruit from the state of Florida.
The Bulldogs now have 7 players in their 2023 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 2 in the nation and No. 1 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
